Habit Stamp Book Privacy Policy

Effective: September 26, 2026 / Updated: October 8, 2026 / 日本語

This policy explains how the iOS app “Habit Stamp Book” (習慣スタンプ帳, “the App”) handles user information. If this English version differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.

1. Information we collect

The App does not require an account or sign-in. The developer does not collect or store any personal information.

Your tasks, stamp records, daily notes, and settings are stored only on your device. They are never sent to the developer or any other third-party server.

To let you know when a new version is available, the App reads a settings file on this website and public App Store information (the latest version number) when it starts. No information about you or your records is sent (as with any connection, the servers may log technical details such as your IP address).

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

To cover running costs, the App uses Google AdMob, provided by Google LLC, to show a banner ad at the bottom of each screen. On the Themes screen, a video rewarded ad is shown only when you choose “Try it free” (watching it to the end lets you use the theme you’re trying on for the rest of the day). To deliver ads, measure their performance, and prevent fraud, Google may collect and use information such as:

The App is set to show only non-personalized ads (not based on your interests), and it does not ask for permission to track you across other companies’ apps and websites. Ad content is limited to material suitable for all ages.

For details on how Google handles information, see:

3. In-app purchases

The App offers two one-time (non-subscription) in-app purchases: “Remove Ads” and “Theme Pack.”

Purchases are processed by Apple Inc. through the App Store. The developer never receives or stores payment details such as credit card numbers. After changing devices or reinstalling, you can get your purchases back with “Restore Purchases” in the App.

4. Where data is stored

The App’s data (records, settings, chosen themes, reward progress, etc.) is stored only on your device, in an area shared by the App and its widgets. There is currently no backup to external servers, so deleting the App deletes the data (unless you restore from an iPhone backup).

5. Notifications

Reminders are local notifications scheduled and shown on your device. They do not go through any external server. You can turn them on or off and change the time in the App’s settings at any time.

6. Widgets

Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets only show and update the App’s data on your device. Nothing is sent externally.

7. Sharing with third parties

Apart from Google AdMob (ad delivery) and Apple Inc.’s App Store (purchase processing) described above, the App does not provide or sell information to any third party.

8. Children’s privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are limited to content suitable for all ages and comply with Google AdMob policies.

9. Your choices

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may change due to changes in law or new features in the App. Important changes will be announced on this page.
